BUT if you’re only going to read ONE thing today make it this…

AI Is Moving Fast. Here's How to Keep Up.

AI is moving faster than any other technology. New models. New tools. New claims. New noise.

Most people feel like they're behind. But the people that don't, aren't smarter. They're just better informed.

The Future Today is a daily briefing for people who want clarity. In one concise email each day, you'll get the most important AI and tech developments, learn why they matter, and what they signal about what's coming next.

Written for operators, builders, leaders, and anyone who wants to sound sharp when AI comes up in the meeting.

One email. Five Minutes. Stay ahead of 99% of the world.

126. Bell Peppers Beat Oranges

Think oranges are the king of vitamin C? Red bell peppers can actually pack more.

One cup of chopped red bell pepper contains roughly three times as much vitamin C as a medium orange. They’re also easy to add to salads, stir-fries, sandwiches, or just eat raw with dip. A simple way to sneak a serious vitamin C boost into your day.

127. How Rare Is Your Blood Type?

Ever wondered how common your blood type is? Globally, the rough breakdown is: O+ 37%, O− 6%, A+ 27%, A− 4%, B+ 20%, B− 2%, AB+ 4%, and AB− 1%.

That means O+ is by far the most common, while AB− is one of the rarest. The exact percentages vary by country and population, but it’s a fun way to see where your blood type fits in.

128. The Lazy Way to Cook Corn

Skip the big pot of boiling water. You can cook corn right in the oven, husk and all. Place the whole ears on a baking sheet and roast them at 350°F for around 25–30 minutes.

The husk helps trap moisture inside, essentially steaming the corn as it cooks. When it’s done, peel it back and enjoy sweet, plump kernels with almost no prep or cleanup.

129. The Forearm Shoe Trick

Shopping for shoes but don’t feel like trying on pair after pair? Here’s a surprisingly handy trick: for many people, the length of the forearm from the elbow to the wrist is roughly similar to the length of the foot.

You can hold a shoe against your forearm for a quick size estimate. It’s not precise enough to replace trying shoes on, but it can help you narrow down your options faster.

130. Try the 8-8-8 Rule

If your days constantly feel out of balance, try dividing your 24 hours using the 8-8-8 rule: 8 hours for work, 8 hours for sleep, and 8 hours for everything else that makes life worth living.

That last block can include family, friends, exercise, hobbies, meals, relaxation, and personal time. Real life won’t always divide perfectly, but it’s a simple reminder that your entire day doesn’t have to revolve around work.
