56. Filter AI Junk Out of Google Searches

Want cleaner Google results? Add “-AI” to the end of your search query to help filter out AI-generated images and content.

You can also set Google’s date filter to show results from before 2022, which helps surface more human-made articles, photos, and forum posts.

It’s a simple trick, but it can make searches feel a lot more authentic and useful, especially when you’re researching, shopping, or looking for real examples instead of endless AI slop.

57. The Simplest Way to Write Better Essays

One thought per sentence. One idea per paragraph. One argument per section. That simple structure can instantly make your writing clearer and easier to follow.

Most people lose readers because they cram too many ideas together at once. By slowing down and keeping each sentence focused on a single point, your essays become more logical, more persuasive, and much easier to read.

It also makes editing far simpler because you can quickly spot weak or unnecessary points.

58. If You Call 911, Unlock Your Door

If you’re alone and think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 and unlock your front door immediately.

Even opening it slightly can save critical time for paramedics who may otherwise need to force entry. In serious emergencies like heart attacks, strokes, or falls, every second matters.

It’s a small step most people never think about in the moment, but it could make a major difference!

59. The “Clean Handle” Trick for Surprise Guests

Forgot to clean before guests arrive? Focus on the things people touch most: doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, fridge handles, and countertops.

People subconsciously judge cleanliness through touch, so wiping down high-contact surfaces can make your entire home feel fresher in minutes.

Even if the rest of the house isn’t perfect, clean surfaces create the impression that everything is more organized and cared for than it actually is.

60. Hairy Toes Are a Good Sign

Strangely enough, hair on your toes is often a sign of healthy circulation. Since your feet are the farthest point from your heart, growing hair there means blood flow is reaching those tiny follicles properly.

Doctors sometimes look at hair loss on the feet and toes as one possible sign of circulation problems. So while hairy toes may not win any beauty contests, they’re often a surprisingly good sign that your body’s blood flow is doing its job.
