BUT if you’re only going to read ONE thing today make it this…

AI Is Moving Fast. Here's How to Keep Up.
AI is moving faster than any other technology. New models. New tools. New claims. New noise.
Most people feel like they're behind. But the people that don't, aren't smarter. They're just better informed.
The Future Today is a daily briefing for people who want clarity. In one concise email each day, you'll get the most important AI and tech developments, learn why they matter, and what they signal about what's coming next.
Written for operators, builders, leaders, and anyone who wants to sound sharp when AI comes up in the meeting.
One email. Five Minutes. Stay ahead of 99% of the world.
110. Where Your Food Comes From
Ever wondered where a product was originally registered? The first three digits of a barcode can offer a clue.
For example, 000–139 is USA/Canada, 300–379 is France, 400–440 is Germany, 450–459 and 490–499 is Japan, and 690–699 is China. Keep in mind this identifies the company that registered the barcode, not necessarily where the product was manufactured.
111. The 3X Rent Rule
Not sure if a new apartment fits your budget? A simple guideline is the 3X Rent Rule. Your monthly rent should be no more than one-third of your gross monthly income.
Following this rule can help leave enough room in your budget for essentials like food, transportation, savings, and unexpected expenses.
112. Make Every Alarm Sound Different
If you're constantly hitting snooze, try changing up your alarms. Set several alarms about 10 minutes apart, but use a different song or ringtone for each one.
Your brain quickly gets used to hearing the same sound, but a new one grabs your attention and can make it easier to actually get out of bed.
113. A Quick Trick for a Stuffy Nose
Need temporary relief from a blocked nose? Try pressing an ice cube against the roof of your mouth for a few seconds.
The cold may help constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling in your nasal passages, making it easier to breathe. It's not a cure, but it can provide short-term relief when you need it most.
114. Donate Cash, Not Cans
If you want to make the biggest impact at a food bank, consider donating money instead of groceries.
A $100 cash donation often feeds far more people than $100 worth of food from the grocery store because food banks buy in bulk, receive wholesale pricing, and can purchase exactly what their communities need most.
