 LIFE HACK #193

The next time you’re trying to look for something you’ve lost, try scanning the room from right to left. Due to the fact that everything we read is from right to left, our brains get used to this motion, and by doing things backwards it allows your brain to pick up on smaller, more minuscule details.

Which is exactly what you want when looking for something. This trick can also be used when looking for a spot in a busy parking lot, or trying to find an empty seat in a busy auditorium.

LIFE HACK #194

When you’re away from your car and you have electronic devices in it, make sure to always turn them off. Criminals have been recently found using radio and bluetooth detectors to determine which cars to rob.

LIFE HACK #195

If you're feeling anxious or a panic attack coming on, try the stop, drop and breathe method. Take 2 or 3 deep breaths (from your diaphragm, not your chest) for a very slow count of four. (That's four seconds on the in-breath, four more on the out-breath.) Simply doing this can keep the anxiety or panic attacks from growing into something serious.
